In December, Vista Ridge seniors will present their senior projects, multi-part major projects that include: 1) a research paper; 2) a portfolio; 3) a product; and 4) a presentation before a panel of judges.
Senior Projects will be presented on Wednesday, Dec. 3 (regular academic Senior English students) and Dec. 16 (AP Senior English students) from 4-6pm. A reception for students, judges, faculty, staff, and parents will follow in the VRHS Mall.
The school still needs volunteers to judge projects and presentations on Wednesday, December 3rd.

Veterans Day Office Closures - Tuesday
Federal, state, Williamson County, and Cedar Park city offices will be closed on Tuesday in observance of Veterans Day. The post office and Cedar Park library will also be closed.

Circuit City to Close 9 Texas Stores, Including Cedar Park Location
With all of the development under way at 1890 Ranch, it's unfortunate to see that Circuit City, one of the first stores in the center, is closing as the company cuts its store count to save money. From Impact News:
The Cedar Park Circuit City, located at 1335 E. Whitestone Blvd., is one of 155 stores in 28 states across the country that will be closing Nov. 4. Plan to Wait When Voting Early
With record early voting taking place in Williamson County and across the country, waits have been long here in Cedar Park.
The Cedar Park Public Library has been the busiest polling location in Williamson County. Election volunteers have processed 130 to 140 voters per hour.
