Still No KXAN for Time Warner Customers [ABJ]

Time Warner customers lost NBC programming on Friday as the owner of local affiliate KXAN continued a contract dispute with Time Warner. From ABJ:

"KXAN parent LIN Television (NYSE: TVL) and Time Warner Cable Inc. (NYSE: TWC) have been locked in a battle for weeks over a new retransmission contract.

At issue is LIN’s demand that its stations receive compensation from the cable company for their signal. Time Warner says it shouldn’t have to pay for something the stations receive for free."
